My Buddah bowl is pretty green this morning.  I’d take a picture and show you, but I’m in a bit of a rush – have to go to work, finish breakfast….

But I also haven’t posted here as diligently as I should and that makes a difference in my progress.

I had a chat with my dietician yesterday.  Neither of us are too happy with my progress, and in spite of my medications and tooth stuff, it’s time to get my rear in gear – because the less weight I have to drag along on the half-marathon the better!

I have registered for it, plunked my money down, and my next job is to raise $100 or more for Inn From the Cold.  I think I can do that – and walk the marathon.  Here’s the link on the off chance that you’d like to help with that goal as well!  On Saturday I’ll be taking my walk outside as it’s 40 minutes long.  I’ll have a good walk and end it at the Kingsland Farmer’s Market!  Should be fun!

In the meantime, we soldier on – I’m switching my snacks from my healthy bran muffins to hummus and raw veggies.  I’m trying to follow my eating plan, which has starches only at meal times.  We’ll give it a go and see what happens!
