Sunday Summary

It’s been a good day.  Church this morning, family visiting for the rest of the day, a little bit of walking and a lot of talking.

Good Stuff:

  1. Delicious breakfast – 2 eggs, Etorki sheep cheese and a bit of bauershinken!
  2. A great big salad for lunch with some roasted veggies to make it interesting
  3. Delicious supper with Ingrid – chicken, veggies and kamut noodles.
  4. Just now – a cup of hot cocoa some walnuts, and prunes.
  5. Afternoon cake with the family – everyone had enough and no-one had too much.

Not so good stuff:

  1. I don’t think there was any of that today.  This is my resting day, so exercise isn’t a high priority.
  2. I guess I could hav eskipped the coffee at church this morning.

The week has been better as I’ve been creating a routine for the evening (a small cup of hot chocolate and prunes)  We’ll see how it goes!

Have a good day everyone!

About Marcia Stehouwer

I have a great life (most days) and a small budget, so being frugal is one of my favourite hobbies. I started this blog after procrastinating for 3 months, on April Fool's Day. I knit, I read, I knit, I work... I am also about a quarter of the way through my goal to lose 100 pounds. So between knitting, working, reading etc., I also do some walking!

good stuff, but not sure why the coffee is on the naughty list. Unless you dumped lots of cream and sugar in it. I initially tried to scale back coffee and then realized it was so worth the calories (with skim and/or splenda)

The first coffee was good. The coffee at church was the second one. I usually have one cup of coffee and it’s a good one – frothed milk and a great cup. There are some things you just have to enjoy and I agree – coffee is one of them!
