Today I worked my second of three 7:30 am. shifts. Another was on Sunday, and the last one will be on Saturday. Since neither of those days are gym days, it didn’t really matter. Today it did!
At 6:30 am. I was walking to work. Breakfast was still according to the routine – porridge and coffee – but NO WORK-OUT! And man was I grumpy at 7:30 am! I think I work through all of that at the gym and by the time I leave, I’m happy. And I’m happy all day!
Despite the “off” timing of things today I did manage to stay on my eating routine – for the most part.
At work I had a cup of Mocha Coffee – which is starting to inch towards a habit – when I have 3 quarters of course.
First break: 1 muffin and half a grapefruit. Lunch: 2 cups of my soup concoction of yesterday – I measured it!), a toasted slice of bread with some mortadella lunch meat and that was it. 2nd break: The other muffin and the rest of the grapefruit.
At home I caught up on some stuff, had a spoon of peanut butter and went to the gym. It’s amazing how time can just whip by.
Now I’m home from the gym, I had 2 cups of mixed vegetables and some ground turkey that I cooked up a while ago. I love being able to freeze things and just popping them into the microwave!
That was today. Tomorrow I can go to the gym first thing in the morning – and if I sleep well tonight, I’ll be at the gym at 6 am. That’s my goal – I’ll let you know tomorrow if I succeed1
