The Last Line of the Year!

Marking the Last Workout!

It’s been a busy year, and no one is more amazed than I am that I filled up that little sheet of paper with lines.  It marks my commitment to showing up for my life – getting up, getting fitter, becoming both less and more, gaining and losing!  I do think I need to get that tooth taken care of, though.

Today was not a day for counting calories.  It was a day for olliebollen and if you check My 5 Colour Parachute in the next few days, you’ll see why.

Still, I did sow some good seeds in between olliebollen.  I enjoyed my usual good breakfast.  I did my weights workout at the gym.  We geocached this afternoon – which included some strenuous hill climbing.  I noticed the improvement in my abilities to climb steep hills – getting down them was another story and I’m glad my brother lent me his arm!

Most of my olliebollen will find homes in other people’s bellies – which is very good for mine!  But New Year’s Eve only comes around once a year, so I won’t be making them for a while either.

Thanks for stopping bye and checking me out.  It encourages me, and I hope it encourages you. Feel free to share your stories in the comments.  We can all learn together!

Happy New Year!

About Marcia Stehouwer

I have a great life (most days) and a small budget, so being frugal is one of my favourite hobbies. I started this blog after procrastinating for 3 months, on April Fool's Day. I knit, I read, I knit, I work... I am also about a quarter of the way through my goal to lose 100 pounds. So between knitting, working, reading etc., I also do some walking!
